Canterbury Climate Fair - 15th + 16th May

Canterbury Greenpeace are organising a two day Climate Fair on the 15th & 16th May - Driftwood  will be playing there (probably on the 15th) and many of our friends from Deal Friday Folk Club are doing sessions. More details to follow...

The Climate Fair will run from 9am to 5pm on the Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.
There will be campaign stalls, entertainers, Fairtrade and organic produce stalls, and displays stretching along The Parade and St George’s Street between the ancient clock tower and historic Rose Lane.

Join the Magnificent Revolution!

Just come accross an organisation - Magnificent Revolution - which brings together my love of music, bicycles and all things green.
They are a collective of artists, musicans, engineers, designers and eco-builders who come up with some simple but brilliant ideas - The one that got my attention was their bicycle generators for the PA for Deal's very own Cocos Lovers at a gig in the Secret Garden Festival.
